Wounds and Lacerations: Emergency Care and Closure PDF

Nice book, easy to read with good explanations. This book is a good reference for anyone having to close wounds in the ED. I would say this book provides more than nursing skills, (one chapter is even dedicated just to irrigating techniques and the research behind the best solutions to use). However, if you are just wanting to learn how to tie, go to you tube.

Once in a while I buy a book that is extraordinary. Alexander Trott's is one of them. This book is not only useful for persons working in emergency care, but is excellent for just about everyone. Every parent should read it to cope properly with the unavoidable injuries of their kids. Normally books of this caliber are expensive, but this book at 54 $ and in a library binding is a bargain not to be missed. I will use and treasure this book as long as I live.
