The Anatomy and Physiology Learning System PDF

I found this book to be well-written and to the point for every topic in anatomy and physiology. It was totally complete, showing the structure and function of every system in the body. I studied this book and the following for my college anatomy and physiology classes: Anatomy and Physiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations by Patrick Leonardi
Vol 1(ISBN: 0971999619) and Vol 2 (ISBN: 0971999627)
This books really helped out for test preparation. They showed the various questions that were similar to my actual exam questions. I highly recommend these 3 books.

The book is organized by organ system, and each chapter is full of well explained illustration. To use the book, not much knowledge of chemistry is needed (just a bit of acid/base chem, freshman year) and elementary cell biology. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants an elementary, easy to follow introduction to anatomy and physiology for self-study.
