Nursing Health Assessment PDF

I had to buy this book for my BSN program. As a working RN, this text is pedestrian and a total waste of money and paper. Numerous glaring errors - not acceptable. I would not even sell this book after the semester to recoup the money I paid for it. I would not participate in Nursing misinformation.

If you are an administrator at a Nursing School considering this text, think about how foolish you will look if you require a text rife with errors... it reflects VERY poorly on your Nursing practice and Nursing in general. If such a poor text is selected, there can only be one reason and how does that speak to your professional integrity?

If you are a student, with this required text, contact me and I will ship my copy to you free of charge. I don't think the publisher should make a cent on this. The author, editor, contributors and proofreaders should be embarrassed.

The text attempts to organize itself...but it's not done in a manner that has helped me retain any of the information. I'm not sure how other health assessments books are, but this one opens with a decent amount of anatomy, which is of course useful, but I wish it also had a LITTLE BIT of physiology to explain WHY the abnormal findings are abnormal. It feels like the physical assessment, which to me is what should make this text worthwhile, is thrown in the middle and poorly explained. I don't hate this text, but it doesn't get me excited about health assessment.
