Lean Hospitals: Improving Quality, Patient Safety, and Employee Engagement, Second Edition PDF

An excellent read. This edition provides enhanced ideas and recommnedations on the original, the examples Mark uses are real world and applicable - they make you think. This book is a must for those in healtcare. His discussion regarding standard work in healtcare was right on. After reading this book you won't see things in your facility the same way again. Highly Recommend

This is the single most comprehensive and helpful book applying lean management practices to the hospital setting. It is obvious that Mark Graban has done a great deal or work in hospitals and this book clearly demonstrates his practical knowledge. It should be required reading for everyone managing in healthcare. If you are in healthcare, get it, read it, and apply it.
