The Developing Human: Clinically Oriented Embryology, 8th Edition PDF

This was a well-written textbook for medical students. The information was presented in a way that was easy to understand. Sometimes concepts and figures were repeatedly emphasized for certain structures, but I believe that's essential to learning embryology.

Pros:
-Easy to read.
-Structures are frequently identified to allow you to spatially orient yourself.
-End of chapter summaries.
-Practice questions in text.
-Online student consult animations and more practice material.
-The book is available online using the student consult.

Cons:
-The layout of figures was slightly aggravating because I had to flip through multiple pages at times to view structures that I was reading about, thus it was occasionally time consuming to read.

Overall, I really enjoyed this textbook.

The book I confess was surprisingly small in comparison to his anatomy book, however its very easy reading and very complete, I gave him a star less because the stages before fertilization are to short, they lack of a deeper look.
