Medical-Surgical Nursing: Critical Thinking in Patient Care PDF

I will be happy when I no longer need it, but for now in nursing it has better information than the internet... Hint: reference from the back when u need to research as question....
By Blair A. Greene Sr.
I was having a hard time with the med-surg book our teacher picked; she stated that it is in such detail that is for nurses who specialize in each field, and that she is moving to this book next year ... I decided the investment of a second med-surg book was worth it, if I could make it through this semester & not have to repeat ... and loose time & money ... so I bought this book and my grades have really increased substantially; thank God.

This book has excellent nursing interventions and goes over all the NANDAs associated with the disease process with the interventions so it was also helpful with writing those blasted care plans ...

This book is visual with a drawing of a person with all the bodily functions & disease processes - so for a visual person this book is great!

The patho section is more detailed, than the below book, and written interestingly.

The complicated book we use in class is Brunner and Suddarth's Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing (Two Volume Set) Twelfth Edition it has good interventions, but you can get caught up on how many ml's per hour etc ... important stuff ... but too detailed.
